What is The Purpose of Our Band Boosters?
We support and encourage the musical endeavors of our band students in multiple respects. Our main focus is managing the finances and organization of events for our Band students!
What Do The Band Boosters Put The Band's Raised Funds Towards?
Multiple projects! The financial profits collected from our fundraisers are spent towards the following projects: uniforms (Middle School and High School Band Students), colorguard camp scholarships, drum major scholarships, school instruments, music supplies (reeds, cork grease, cleaning swabs, etc.) clinician fees, and much more.
Who Can Be a Member of Our Band Boosters?
Each parent of a student involved in our band program is automatically a member of the Bronco Band Boosters and is entitled to attend any and all meetings (there is no membership fee to attend). Members can also include grandparents, relatives, board members, administrators, teachers, interested alumni and alumni parents or anyone else who supports the objectives of the organization.
What Type of Organization is The Band Boosters?
The Bronco Band Boosters is a 501C3 non-profit organization with an executive board consisting of a president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, member at large and the directors of the instrumental music department.
When are New Band Booster Members Appointed?
Officers are nominated in the spring and are elected for a two year term. Elections are staggered so that the president and secretary are elected one year, and the vice president, treasurer, and member at large are elected the next year.
When and Where are Band Booster Meetings Held?
The business of Boosters is conducted at regularly scheduled meetings that can be found on our calendar. Meetings are usually on Tuesday's at 7:00 in the high school band room, which is located off the hallway behind the Center Stage Theater.
Who are Decisions Made By?
Decisions are made by the majority vote of the executive board, but comments are taken into consideration from all in attendance.
How are Meetings Structured?
Meetings have a written agenda, are conducted in a business manner and are productive and informative.
